The Iowa Society of Fire Service Instructors was founded in 1963. The Iowa Society is Chapter 2 of the International Society of Fire Service Instructors (ISFSI). The Society is governed by an Executive Board consisting of a President, a Vice-President, A Recording Secretary, a Treasurer, and four Directors. The Society holds an Instructors' Conference each year. 

Our society has an active working partnership with the Fire Service Training Bureau.
